Advocating for Justice, Elevating Voices, Supporting Families

Voice of Da Voiceless was founded to support individuals impacted by the Department of Corrections and their families. Registered in New York State under the IRS, we are committed to providing mental health resources, pre-entry programs, and advocacy for those affected by incarceration. Our work is rooted in justice, community support, and systemic change. Through counseling, education, and public awareness, we aim to empower individuals, amplify unheard voices, and create opportunities for healing and rehabilitation across the nation.

Voices of Those We’ve Helped

At Voice of Da Voiceless, our mission is to uplift, support, and advocate for individuals impacted by the correctional system. But don’t just take our word for it—hear directly from those whose lives have been changed through our programs.

The support I received from Voice of Da Voiceless was life-changing. Their guidance helped me navigate the challenges of re-entry, and today, I have a job, a home, and hope for my future.
Michael R., Formerly Incarcerated Individual

After my son was incarcerated, I felt lost and helpless. This organization gave me the emotional support and resources I needed to stay strong and fight for him.
Angela S., Parent of an Incarcerated Individual

The advocacy work of this group is making a real difference. They are not just talking about change—they are actively fighting for it and giving families like mine a voice.

Our Story and Mission

The organization was born out of a deep need for justice, reform, and support for families affected by the prison system. We provide critical resources, emotional guidance, and legal assistance referrals to those struggling with the consequences of incarceration. Our mission is clear: to advocate for the voiceless, break cycles of injustice, and support individuals on their journey to healing and reintegration. Through our programs and national outreach, we offer a lifeline to those in need.

Justice for Robert Brooks

Robert Brooks was a young man tragically murdered in Marcy Correctional Facility in December 2023. His story became a catalyst for our fight against injustice and systemic failures within the prison system. The Justice for Robert Brooks movement has brought national attention to issues such as prison violence, accountability, and the need for reform. Voice of Da Voiceless stands with families like Robert’s, ensuring that their pain is not forgotten and that real change is pursued.

Creating a Future of Hope

Beyond advocacy, our work focuses on mental health counseling, family support, and pre-entry programs to help individuals transition back into society. We believe that rehabilitation begins with access to education, employment opportunities, and a strong support system. Our nationwide efforts ensure that no one faces these challenges alone. By fostering a community of resilience and change, we strive to create a future where every person has the opportunity to rebuild and thrive.

These testimonials reflect the real impact of our work. Their stories inspire us to continue fighting for justice, offering support, and ensuring every voice is heard.
